If it has the seven-speed dry S tronic, it could be the clutch pack or the mechatronic unit. It needs diagnosing before anything is replaced, because the two repairs are very different in price.
How often does S tronic oil need changing?
It depends on the gearbox version. The wet dual-clutch boxes have a set interval from the manufacturer. Tell us the model and year and we'll confirm it.
Do you remap the RS3?
Yes. The 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder responds very well, but it also asks more of the gearbox and cooling. We check the car first and tell you what's sensible.
