Airmatic is the big one on the coast. E-Class, S-Class, CLS and GLE models on air suspension age badly in strong sun: the air springs crack, the compressor works overtime, and one morning the car is sitting on its bump stops. Air suspension is one of our core jobs, so we find the actual leak first rather than throwing four struts at it.
On the AMG side, the twin-turbo 4.0 V8 in the C 63 and E 63, and the four-cylinder in the A 45, respond well to a remap as long as the engine is healthy. We check plugs, coil packs, oil condition and temperatures first. If you want more voice, we'll build a stainless exhaust to your spec, valved or not, with the understanding that noise and the ITV are the owner's responsibility.

Can you fix Airmatic without replacing all four struts?
Usually, yes. We track down the leak and replace what has failed. If the others are badly cracked, we'll show you and you decide.
Can you remap a C 63 with the naturally aspirated 6.2?
Yes, though the gains on a naturally aspirated engine are smaller than on a twin-turbo. It tends to come alive with a well-built exhaust and a map set up for it.
Will servicing outside the main dealer affect my warranty?
Servicing with parts and oils that meet the manufacturer's specification should protect your warranty. We stamp the service book too. Ask us about your car.
Do you build valved exhausts for AMGs?
Yes, with a valve so you can switch between quiet and open. Noise can affect the ITV and noise rules, and keeping the car legal is down to the owner.
