A custom exhaust for Estepona has to live a double life: Sunday mornings on the hill roads, when you want to hear it, and Monday mornings leaving a residential underground car park at seven, when you really don't. That's why many of the systems we build have an exhaust valve, open when you want it and shut when it matters.
Everything is fabricated in-house at SRM Performance, TIG-welded in stainless steel, with aluminium where it suits. We build full systems, rear sections, downpipes, silencers and tailpipes, and route them for the car's real ride height. That matters a lot in Estepona, where so many cars are lowered or on air: an exhaust that hangs too low will catch on garage ramps and speed humps in town.
Stainless also shrugs off the salt air far better than the mild steel used on many standard systems, which can rot through in a few years on the coast. Sound, tailpipe layout and finish are all to your spec. We'll point out anything that could affect the ITV or noise rules, because keeping the car legal is the owner's responsibility.

Driving route to the workshop
From Estepona: bring it so we can hear it
About 45 km on the A-7 or AP-7. For a custom exhaust, it's best to bring the car over once so we can listen to it, measure up and talk about the sound you're after. You can also send photos on WhatsApp for a first quote.
Typical exhaust jobs
Full stainless systems
Made to measure with TIG welding, from the turbo or manifold back to the tailpipes.
Exhaust valves
Remote-controlled valves so you can switch between quiet and open.
Exhausts for lowered cars
Routed for the final ride height so the system doesn't ground out.
Repairs and welding
Broken hangers, cracks and salt-rotted sections repaired with TIG.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a custom exhaust take?
It depends on the car and the design; we tell you when we quote.
Can you add a valve to my existing exhaust?
In many cases, yes, a remote-controlled valve can be added to an existing system. Tell us the car and we'll take a look.
Does a stainless exhaust last longer on the coast?
Yes, it resists salt-air corrosion far better than the mild steel in many standard systems.
Will it pass the ITV?
That depends on the exhaust, the noise level and homologation. We build it to your taste and explain what's involved, but keeping the car legal is the owner's responsibility.
