Land Rover and Range Rover mechanic for Estepona

People searching for a Land Rover and Range Rover mechanic for Estepona usually have the same story: the car's sitting low in the morning, there's a 'suspension fault' message on the dash, or the compressor won't stop running. Air suspension is one of our main jobs, and Range Rovers and Discoverys rely on it more than almost anything else on the road.

Range Rover Sport L320 and L494, Range Rover L322 and L405, and Discovery 3, 4 and 5 air systems have well-known weak points: air springs that perish in the sun, leaking valve blocks, compressors that overheat from working too hard. On the coast, with long hot summers and hillside urbanisations full of steep drives and dirt tracks, the system gets a harder life than most.

Beyond the suspension, we service and repair the TDV6 and SDV6 diesels, the four-cylinder Ingenium engines in the Evoque, Velar and Discovery Sport, and the V8s. Diagnosis first, then a price, and we only replace what needs replacing.

Driving route to the workshop

From Estepona, even if it's sitting low

About 45 km on the A-7 or AP-7. If the Range Rover has dropped right down, don't drive it like that: message us and we'll work out how to get it here. If it still lifts, come over gently and take the speed humps slowly.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my Range Rover sink overnight?

Usually a leak in an air spring, a line or the valve block. The car loses air while parked and the compressor has to refill it in the morning. We find the leak before changing anything.

Can it be converted to coil springs?

Conversion kits exist, but they change how the car drives and can affect the ITV. We'll explain the pros and cons before you decide.

Do you repair the compressor or replace it?

It depends on its condition. Sometimes it's the relay, dryer or seals. If the compressor itself is worn out, we'll tell you and quote for it.

Do you service the new Defender?

Yes, the L663 Defender with oils and parts to spec. Send us the engine and mileage.
