Driving route to the workshop
Manilva is the last stop in Málaga province before you cross into Cádiz, which puts our workshop closer than most people assume. It is around 30 km, a good deal less than heading the other way to Marbella or Málaga. Between the old village, Sabinillas and Puerto de la Duquesa there is a real mix of people: families who have been here for generations, British and other expats living here all year, and the sort of cars that do slow laps of the seafront on a Sunday.

We fabricate stainless steel exhausts in the workshop, TIG-welded to fit, along with downpipes and exhaust valves so you can choose when the car is loud and when it is not. Where it makes sense, we pair that with an ECU remap. VW Group cars (Golf GTI and R, Audi S and RS, Cupra), AMGs and six-cylinder BMWs are the usual suspects, but we are happy to hear about any project.
A good exhaust is about more than noise. It changes how the engine breathes, how it works with the ECU map, and whether you get drone or resonance at motorway speeds. So we start by asking how you use the car. A daily driver doing the A-7 every morning needs something different from a Sunday toy.
One honest note: a modified exhaust, a valve or a pops-and-bangs map can affect the ITV (the Spanish MOT) and noise and emissions rules. We build to the customer's spec, and keeping the car road-legal is the owner's responsibility.

Do you build fully custom exhausts?
Yes. We fabricate stainless steel exhausts and TIG-weld them in our own workshop, from a single section up to a full system, with a downpipe and valves if you want them.
Will a modified exhaust pass the ITV?
It depends on what is done. A modified exhaust, valve or pops-and-bangs map can affect the ITV and noise and emissions rules, and keeping the car legal is the owner's responsibility. We can also help with the ITV and homologation paperwork.
Do I need a remap if I change the exhaust?
Not always. A rear box on its own usually does not need one, but a downpipe or bigger changes generally mean the ECU needs adjusting so the engine runs properly and does not throw fault codes. We will advise for your car.
How much does a custom exhaust cost?
It depends on the car, the material and how much of the system is replaced. Send us photos of the underside on WhatsApp and we will quote after seeing them.
