If you're after a Mercedes mechanic for Málaga who does more than stamp the service book, we work on Mercedes-Benz and AMG every week at our workshop in La Línea. Take the C 63. Whether it's the naturally aspirated 6.2 V8 in the W204 or the later 4.0 twin-turbo, a custom stainless exhaust, TIG-welded and fitted with valves if you want a quiet mode for town, changes the car's whole character. Or the A 45 and CLA 45: small engines running a lot of boost, which is why we check plugs, coils and boost leaks before remapping one.
The bigger saloons and SUVs have their own weak spot in Airmatic air suspension. On the E-Class, S-Class and GLE, airbags and compressors tire with age and the car is found sitting low on one corner in the morning. It's a job we do and one plenty of general garages would rather not touch.

Driving route to the workshop
Bringing your Mercedes from Málaga
It's about 130 km along the coast, roughly an hour and 40 minutes by car. Take the AP-7 or the A-7 past Marbella, Estepona and Sotogrande, then turn off at San Roque for La Línea. A fresh exhaust makes the run home rather enjoyable, but if you'd rather not drive down, collection and delivery is possible, priced on request depending on where you are.

Can you make my C 63 louder without it being unbearable around Málaga?
Yes, it's the most common request we get. Exhaust valves let you keep it quiet in town and open it up on the open road. Bear in mind any exhaust modification can affect the ITV or MOT and noise rules, and keeping the car legal is the owner's responsibility.
My Airmatic car sits low on one corner overnight. Is it worth bringing in?
It's usually a leaking airbag, line or valve block, or a tired compressor. If no one in Málaga wants to look at it, yes. Send us a video and any dashboard warnings first.
Are you an official Mercedes dealer?
