If your Range Rover has been found sagging in the morning, or the suspension warning has lit up on the dash, you already know why people go looking for a Land Rover mechanic beyond Málaga. Air suspension is one of the jobs we do in La Línea, and on Land Rovers it's practically a rite of passage.
The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3, 4 and 5 all run airbags and a compressor that wear with time, and long Andalusian summers don't help. We work out whether it's an airbag, a valve block, a line or the compressor, rather than throwing parts at it.
The diesels have their own well-known history. The 2.7 TDV6 in the Discovery 3 and early Range Rover Sport has a reputation for crankshaft failure, and the four-cylinder Ingenium engines in the Evoque and Discovery Sport are known for timing chain stretch. At the other end, the supercharged 5.0 V8 in the Range Rover Sport deserves a custom exhaust that lets it breathe.
For an Evoque service, stay in Málaga. For suspension no one's managed to fix properly, or a project on your Range Rover, get in touch.

Driving route to the workshop
Málaga to La Línea
It's about 130 km, roughly an hour and 40 minutes by car. If the suspension is holding up, the AP-7 or A-7 to San Roque and on to La Línea is a straightforward drive. If the car is fully down and not safe to drive, don't push it: collection and delivery is possible, priced on request depending on where you are.

Frequently asked questions
My Range Rover sits low on one corner overnight. What is it?
Usually a leak in an airbag, a line or the valve block. If the whole car drops or takes ages to rise, it may be the compressor. Send us a video on WhatsApp and we'll point you in the right direction.
Can you convert the air suspension to coil springs?
Tell us which model you have and why you want it. We do air-to-coil conversions, but we'd weigh up with you how it affects the car and the ITV or MOT.
Do you work on the new Defender?
Yes, on the new one and on classic Defenders. For the new model, tell us what it needs and we'll say what we can do.
Are you an official Land Rover garage?
No. We're an independent workshop that works on Land Rovers and Range Rovers, mainly suspension, engines and tuning.
