Performance car mechanic for Marbella
A performance car mechanic worth driving to from Marbella should do more than bolt on catalogue parts. At SRM Performance in La Línea de la Concepción we do the mechanical work, TIG-weld the exhaust, fit the suspension and write the map, all in the same place.
That matters because a build is a package. A new exhaust changes how the engine breathes, and the software needs to know about it. A lowered car needs someone to check the exhaust still clears. An engine about to make more power has to be healthy first: plugs, coils, clutch, cooling. When every part is done by a different garage, nobody owns the result.
In Marbella and Puerto Banús, builds tend to go one of two ways: cars that need to look and sound right around town, and cars that get enjoyed on the mountain roads up to Ronda or Istán. We ask how you use the car before suggesting anything, because air suspension and a sporty drop do very different jobs.
Everything is built to your spec. Exhausts, valves and pops and bangs maps can affect the ITV and noise rules, and keeping the car legal is the owner's responsibility.

Frequently asked questions
Where should I start with my car?
With a health check. A sound engine and good brakes and suspension are the foundation. Then we talk about what you're after and what makes sense for your car.
Can a build be done in stages?
Yes. Lots of people start with a map or an exhaust and add to it over time. We plan it so each stage fits the next.
Will my modified car pass the ITV?
It depends on the work. Some modifications need homologation. Keeping the car legal is the owner's responsibility. We can help with the ITV and homologation side.
How much does a build cost?
It depends entirely on the car and what you want. Send us the car and the idea on WhatsApp, and we quote after seeing the car or photos.
